Who we are

FARM DAVID STERZA

The Farm Sterza David, has a long tradition linked with the vinification for a familiar use, but it is effectively born in 1998.

With David works its cousin Paolo Mascanzoni, contributor and partner of the farm. Paolo considered the young age of his cousin and verified the high quality of grapes that its vineyards produced, then he made an incisive pressure so that David decided to transform directly the grapes rather than sell it to other cellars. David was enthusiastic of this proposal and founded the farm Sterza David, that imposed to itself the productive philosophy of exaltation of its inimitable territoriality.

The wines

Amarone
AMARONE OF VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO

Red wine of large importance, full-bodied, intense and elegant. The word “Amarone” was born in the eighteenth century when was necessary to identify a wine produced from raisin grapes, like the Recioto, but with organoleptic properties that were totally different.

Recioto

It is a red wine for dessert, very full-bodied and with fruit taste, particularly of cherry jam. It is obtained from grapes partially dried in fruttaio and for their high concentration, the wine remains sweet because the fermentation is naturally stopped.

From the vinification of our vineyards' best grapes, the rigorous selection of grapes and fermentation in stainless steel enhance the freshness and fragrance characteristics.

Recioto
